As per Economic times much awaited smartphone ” Freedom 251″, are ready to deliver their first set of 30,000 smartphones beginning from June 28th.
As reported by ET ” According to media reports, Mohit Goel, CEO of Noida-based firm Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd., has said that the company will start shipping “Freedom 251” from June 28 in cash-on-delivery (COD) mode to those who had pre-booked the device.
In an earlier interview to IANS, Ringing Bells President Ashok Chadha had said that “Freedom 251” customers will be required to make payment only when the smartphone is delivered to them. “
Ringing bells has received around seven crore registration before the website crashed due heavy traffic on it, the company is planning to give 25 lakh handset till 30th June.
Freedom 251, which is priced at Rs. 251 will run on Android 5.1 operating system, sport a 4-inch qHD IPS display, a 3.2-megapixel primary and a 0.3-megapixel front camera.
If the promises turns out to be true, Freedom 251 can be a great value for money. In the smartphone market which has entry price of Rs. 4000 this phone can give them huge competition. It can turn out to be game changer in the smartphone market and can attract huge demand from the rural and low income consumers who cannot afford a smartphone due to price factor.
