How to return on Nykaa

Nykaa is an online shopping platform for cosmetics. Many online shopping websites do not accept the return for cosmetics and related item due to hygiene issue. But in case if you have ordered something on experimental basis in order to try something new and do not like it or you think you have accepted a wrong product then you should know how to return on Nykaa.

But before returning anything condition in which return will not be accepted and categories which cannot be returned on Nykaa.

Returns on Nykaa will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • If the request is initiated after 5 business days of order delivery
  • Product is used or altered
  • Product is damaged due to misuse/overuse by the customer
  • Returned attempted without original packaging including, price tags, labels, original packing, freebies and other accessories or if original packaging is damaged
  • Serial Number tampered
  • Defective products that are covered under Seller/Manufacturer’s warranty

 Categories not eligible for Return on Nykaa

  • Electronic products / Personal care appliances cannot be returned due to hygiene issues
  • Consumables (e.g health supplements, pills, baby products)
  • Sanitary pads and Diapers – Products should not be used, washed or dirty, The product must also be in its original box/packaging with all tags attached, to be eligible for returns.
  • Promotional products (eg: Promotional lipsticks, compacts, mascaras, etc) cannot be returned since they are available during select promotions and ordered on demand

Click on ‘My Orders’. Go to Order and select ‘Have a Concern’. Proceed with the reason for return.             

  • Via Chat Center

Use our chat center to raise request. Go to Nykaa > Click on right side menu> Click on ‘Chat Now’. The easiest way to create a return! 

  • Via Help Center

Click on ‘Have a Concern’>Click on ‘Submit a Request’ > Provide us with your order ID details and your request to return/replace/refund your order. Kindly share an image of the product and the invoice for our reference.

Once your request is received, Nykaa will pick the item from you. Nykaa Team will initiate the refund or replacement process only if the products are received by them in their original packaging with their seals, labels and barcodes intact.

Is it safe to accept orders from Online Shopping companies during COVID-19

Amazon fights against fake products

Amazon said its pilot began early this year and included in-person appointments with prospective sellers. However, it switched exclusively to video conferencing in February because of social distancing requirements related to the highly contagious coronavirus, which has infected more than 2.9 million people globally.

The interview vetting, on top of other risk-screening performed by Amazon, has been piloted with more than 1,000 merchant applicants based in China, the United States, United Kingdom and Japan, Amazon said.

The extra scrutiny by Amazon could make it harder for some China-based sellers, who have registered multiple accounts using private internet networks or fake utility bills. China-based merchants accounted for 40% of the top 10,000 Amazon sellers in Europe, according to 2019 research from firm Marketplace Pulse.

Amazon India launches special fund to help SMB partners in logistics

Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) across India have been financially impacted due to the nationwide lockdown in these unprecedented times. In an effort to enable the SMBs in logistics that are heavily reliant on the company, Amazon India has introduced a Partner Support Fund. This Fund for small and medium businesses in logistics will be available to Delivery Service Partners (DSP) and select Transportation partners in India to help adjust their business model to the new realities posed during the lockdown. Through the one-time disbursement, the fund will support the partners in multiple ways. This includes enabling them to provide financial aid to close to 40,000 of their staff for the month of April’20. Additionally it will help cover some critical fixed infrastructure costs, and support liquidity and cash flow for these businesses as they resume and scale their operations post lockdown.

Return Time & Order Status
  • Returns must be within 15 days after the date of delivery.
  • Orders must be delivered, and the address of the recipient must be in India.
  • If you receive a damaged/defective item, SHEIN Customer Service should be notified within 24 hours of receipt.
Available Return Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
  • bodysuits, lingerie & sleepwear, swimwear, jewelry, and accessories (except scarves, bags, and mermaid blankets).
Bundling Promotion Items Return/Items with Certain Promotions Return
  • All items in bundling promotion are not eligible for partial cancels, exchanges, or returns.
  • Items with non-returnable marks and free gifts cannot be returned.
  • Items with ‘non-returnable’, ‘flash sale’, ‘promotion item cannot be returned’ marks as well free gifts, cannot be returned and exchanged.
  • Items returned must be in their unused condition with the original packing.
Regarding Mismatched Products

  • Find the order in My Orders, click the “Return Item” button.
  • Select the item(s) you would like to return, indicate the reasons, and submit.
  • Select the mailing method: self-sending or pick-up service (choose the pick-up address and post office required information).
  •  The logistics company will contact you as soon as possible, please wait for the courier to pick up the package or take the sealed package to the nearby mailing point and send to the address of SHEIN return centre.
  • We will confirm the parcel immediately after we receive the return, update the status of the return and refund within 7 working days. The refund will be returned to you SHEIN wallet or to your original payment account.

If you are still confused, you can return by calling up the customer care by following below steps:

  • Please contact Customer Service by submitting a ticket on the website, indicating the products you would like to return and the reason. The customer care team will get back to you within 24 hours.
  • After receiving return instructions from Shein customer care,  package up the item(s) to be returned with the original packing.
  • Drop off your package at the local post office.
  • Most returns are processed within 5 business days after they receive the package. They will issue the refund to your SHEIN wallet if you have not otherwise informed them to refund to your payment account in advance. Wallet balance can be used on your next purchase or be withdrawn to your payment account. Once your refund has been issued, you will receive a confirmation email.
*If your order is paid by COD, then your wallet balance cannot be withdrawn, it can be used together with coupon code and points on your next purchase.
